The heritage behind the design
Al Sadu is a traditional weaving craft practised by Bedouin communities across the Middle East, including Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, Qatar, and the UAE. Its unique colours and repeating geometric patterns reflect desert life and cultural identity, with weaving skills passed down through generations.
The art of Al Sadu weaving is recognised on UNESCO’s Intangible Cultural Heritage lists.
